Wedding Makeup Tips
Brides often ask me what is the difference between airbrush makeup and traditional makeup. There are a few things. For one airbrush makeup goes through an airgun that allows it to lay on the skin. Also, there are different bases for airbrush makeup that are important to understand. Some are water based and some are silicone based. I prefer silicone based because it is virtually sweat and tear resistant and a great choice for brides. It also can give a lovely dewy finish but still controls oil and shine and looks amazing in photos. Traditional makeup foundations also come in water based and silicone based, and also works well, but I have found that airbrush makeup really holds ups great for long wedding days. Send me an email if you have more questions.

5 Rules for Newlyweds
The Five Rules Every Newlywed Should Know For A Happy Marriage:

Rule #1 ?Miss Him Like You Mean It:  If he is arriving home after a night away or more, he is looking forward to being met with enthusiasm and warmth.  Men will often feel they are wasting time and energy on a relationship if he doesn?t feel properly missed.  One contributor commented, ?It?s not fun to run into someone?s arms if they are not looking your way.?

Rule #2 ? Be Adventurous & Independent:  When a woman steps out of her regular routine and steps up to a new challenge in life, she immediately beings more intriguing and exciting to her partner.   Visit new places, join an art class, train for a race or visit a friend of out of town.  New adventures add spice to a return home, especially if he wants to be included next time.

Rule #3 ? Remember The Little Things:  If you?ve been in your relationship for 5 years or 5 minutes, it?s still the little things that often count the most.  For example, learn his favorite food and have it waiting for him one night a week.

Rule #4 ? Let him off the hook:  While men admit they know that woman feed off of understanding and sympathy, most don?t know how to demonstrate it.   If he is let you cry on his shoulder for twenty minutes, let him off the hook.  He cares, but is probably tapped out of comforting words by then.

Rule #5 ? Throw negativity out the window:   It is even more important not to be negative, than to be positive.  If you need alone time, just let him know instead of snapping at him.  Being negative and hurting his feelings will only backfire.  A positive woman always stands out and men find that optimism sexy.

Rhonda Ricardo is the author of Cherries Over Quicksand, a pro-relationship book, written for friends, mothers and daughters to offer a little peek into the male psyche and is chock-full of helpful relationship advice that aims to help both sexes figure out how to communicate more effectively with each other. The book provides insight into how to become the woman he can?t live without, what kind of women men most regret letting go of and other insightful relationship issues

Fabulous Fillings and Frostings for Your Wedding Cake
By: Sharon Naylor

As you search for the perfect wedding cake for your big day, you?re probably looking at hundreds of photos of gorgeous, three-tier masterpieces iced to perfection, cascading with fresh flowers ? images that say ?dream wedding cake? to you. But if the most gorgeous wedding cake in the world doesn?t taste amazing, that can be a nightmare for you and a big disappointment to guests. After all, the cake is the last taste of your wedding celebration. It?s what guests remember.

Your cake filling and frosting choices will depend on your personal style as a bride and groom. If you?re formal and traditional, you might love to have a vanilla cake with lemon filling. That?s a classic, and it?s what you?ve always dreamed of. If you?re non-traditional, you might envision a chocolate-frosted cake filled with espresso mousse, a dark, decadent cake instead of the traditional, white-frosted light and airy cake.
The season of your wedding can also play a part in your wedding filling decisions. For your spring wedding, with all of your pretty pastel flowers and your tangerine and yellow color scheme, cut slices of your cake showing off an orange buttercream or ?creamsicle?-flavored filling coordinates your colors right down to the last taste, and turns your cake into the perfect springtime fantasy dessert.

For cake flavors, your baker might offer vanilla, chocolate, and lemon as the basic flavors, and you may be asked to pay a little bit more for that red velvet or carrot cake. Investing more in your cake is always a great idea, since this taste is paramount. This is not the place to cut corners.
